6 Fall Books for Toddlers

It’s fall! The leaves are changing to a beautiful display of fall colors!! I love it! I’ve tried to really get my 2-year-old to notice the changes in the leaves and how they are falling off the trees! She loves it! An easy way to do this is through outdoor exploration and books of course! Today I have a list of fall books that we are loving right now. They are easy reads for toddlers and the pictures are amazing.

Fall Books for Toddlers

Hiking Day by Anne Rockwell: In this book, a girl and her parents go on a hiking adventure. My toddler loves this book and who doesn’t enjoy a nice fall hike!

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Pak: A nice book to read about the transition from summer to fall. The illustrations are lovely and the text is simple for toddlers.

Little Acorn: An adorable book about the life of an acorn. My toddler will read this over and over.

In November by Cynthia Rylant: The earth get colder, animals are hiding away until spring, and people gather together for Thanksgiving dinner. My daughter loves the pictures in this book.

Full of Fall by April Pulley Sayre: Lovely pictures of Fall leaves with simple text. I love that this book has real pictures.

Apples and Pumpkins by Anne Rockwell: A little girl goes apple and pumpkin picking with her parents. After picking apples and pumpkins they carve the pumpkin and go Trick-or-Treating. Anne Rockwell has awesome toddler books. My daughter has fallen in love with them all.

I hope you get the chance to check out these books with you toddler! Also, after you read get out and explore!
