If you read my natural birth story, then you know that I used affirmations during my previous pregnancy. I believe that affirmations helped me to remain calm during pregnancy and labor.
What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are words of encouragement. Affirmations can be statements that you make or you can write them down. I do both. I will write my pregnancy affirmations in my planner, and I recite them daily in my head. You can do what works best for you.
How do Pregnancy Affirmations help?
Pregnancy affirmations can help to ease any negative thoughts in your mind. Removing these negative thoughts can help to eliminate any unnecessary stress. Less stress on both mother and baby is a good thing in pregnancy.
